We’re excited to share that FocusNow has joined the Claude Partner Network, Anthropic’s program for companies building expertise around Claude. It’s a step that reflects where we’re headed: helping clients put AI to work in real, practical ways.
As part of this partnership, our team is working through Anthropic’s official learning path and certification requirements — covering how to build and improve agent skills, use Claude in applications via the Claude API, apply Claude Code in development workflows, and expose data and services through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
For anyone on our team working through the certification path, here’s the order we recommend:
- Introduction to Agent Skills – easy to start with, and the kind of thing you can apply immediately.
- Claude Code in Action – if you haven’t tried Claude Code yet, this is the course that will change your mind.
- Building with the Claude API – the longest and most comprehensive course, but essential groundwork for using Claude in real applications.
- Introduction to Model Context Protocol – the most technical of the four, and worth having your Python sharp for. It overlaps heavily with the MCP section in the API course, so if you’ve already done that one, you can skip this.
